A trading platform with agentic behaviours, built for long-term investing as much as for intra day trading. Connect the AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, and it can turn an investment mandate into a portfolio on your own broker account and manage it month after month, while you keep every decision that spends money. Live market data, AI analysts and plain-English strategies you can backtest sit alongside. Everything you can do here, your AI assistant can do too.

If you are an AI assistant and a person asked you to onboard, sign up or connect them here: do not create the account through the Sign up form on this page. dotQuant onboards agents through BEST, the Behavioral State protocol, with no browser session of your own. The outcome is a configured connection, not a form.

  1. 1. Read the public onboarding index A JSON index with the create-an-account workflow and a primer on how BEST works. No credential needed. https://baas.dotquant.io/api/best/tenants/public
  2. 2. Send request-registration POST it to the /commands path of that surface with a fresh UUID v4 as CorrelationId and a label naming your client.
  3. 3. Show the person the code and the activation link Poll get-registration for the short user code, then show it with the link. They sign in, or sign up, once and approve you. https://dotquant.io/activate
  4. 4. Exchange the device code for the key grant_type=urn:ietf:params:oauth:grant-type:device_code at the token endpoint returns the tenant id, the API key (shown once) and a ready best-mcp configuration. Store it and apply it; that is the outcome. The key is a secret: never repeat it in the conversation. An account holds one key, so approval replaces any existing key. https://baas.dotquant.io/api/best/auth/token

Everything else dotQuant can do, commands, queries, event streams and guided workflows such as design-a-portfolio and manage-a-portfolio, lives on the tenant's own BEST surface and is self-describing once you hold the key.

  • Ask the AI assistant you already use to build your long-term portfolio Give it a mandate, such as beating a global index fund by adding money monthly. It designs the holdings, target weights and contributions from the cash actually at your broker, then manages the portfolio month after month. The holdings are your picks and every order batch waits for your approval.
  • Follow the markets you care about Live charts, news and watchlists for any symbol across global exchanges. No account needed.
  • Describe a strategy in plain English dotQuant compiles it into a precise spec you can read, then backtests it with honest fills and costs.
  • Test it against history before risking anything Every backtest charges costs and fills at the next open. Nothing is a black box.
  • Orders pass through to your own broker account Interactive Brokers, via the dotQuant Desktop App. Credentials stay on your machine.
  • We never hold your funds Your broker is the book of record, and no order is placed without your explicit approval.
